Transportation in Lahti
During the World Championships there will be shuttle bus service for the athletes between the Sport Venues and down town hotels free of charge. Transportation by bus to the hotels outside the Lahti City is also arranged as well as to Helsinki by train.
We recommend renting a car, if you have chosen accommodation for example the cabins outside the centre. For renting services, please contact Lahti Travel Ltd.
Lahti Sport Centre is located only 400 m from the Bus Station and 750 from the City Centre. The Railway Station is located on the other side of the centre, but only approximately 10-15 min walk from the Sport Centre.
TRANSPORTATION TICKETS WMA2009 LAHTI
Guests are able to purchase the ONE WAY bus tickets from the busdriver. 5 day & 12 day Tickets can be bought at the LAHTI2009 Centre from the LOC desk. During the competitions tickets can be purchased from the Lahti 2009 Centre.
