Guided Lahti sightseeing tour by walking
The most important sights of Lahti from Sports Centre to City Hall. You’ll hear interesting background stories about world famous athletes coming from Lahti and learn about the lifestyle of people living in Lahti. Start in front of Lahti Travel office.

Nordic Walking exercise combined with a city tour is an excellent alternative for master athletes competing in Lahti! You’ll hear interesting facts about the host city and people living in Lahti. Tour to Hollola Medieval Church and idyllic village of Hollola
Our Tour starts with a guided tour in the Sibelius Hall located in the passenger harbour of Lahti. Sibelius Hall is a masterpiece of modern wood architecture. After the house tour we’ll enjoy morning coffee in the harbour cafeteria and continue towards Hollola village. Hollola’s medieval grey granite church is located by picturesque Lake Vesijärvi, only 15 minutes drive from Lahti. The church is one of the largest medieval churches in Finland. Its special characteristics include two naves, ring vaults and extremely richly decorated gable walls. The church also houses an extensive collection of medieval wooden statues. After a guided visit to the church we’ll enjoy lunch and visit an Art Gallery nearby. Start in front of Lahti Travel office.

Brewery Tour and Tasting
Lahti is a traditional brewery city. One of the biggest breweries in Finland, Hartwall, once established its facilities in Lahti, by the cleanest ground waters, which provided Hartwall with the best possible resources. In Lahti you can find also many smaller breweries and now you’ll have a chance visit one of them. Teerenpeli is a local brewery and whisky distillery located in downtown Lahti. Price incl.tastings from house brewery; cider, beer and Single Malt Whiskey. Start at the Taivaanranta Restaurant.

Summer Cruise on Lake Vesijärvi with dinner Enjoy the soft light of summer night onboard a lake cruise. A delicious, local seasonal ingredients including dinner will be served from a traditional Finnish buffet table. The boat will cruise on a lake Vesijärvi and on a way you’ll enjoy the silhoutte of the host city Lahti but also the beautiful lake nature and islands.

Kelvenne Lagoon Picnic TourOur local guide will take the group from Lahti by bus to the harbour on the Lake
Päijänne. M/S Elbatar will take you on a picnic to 8 kilometres long Kelvenne Island,
which belongs to Päijänne National Park. The unique nature of Kelvenne with its lagoon
bays, sandy beaches and small ponds formed by Ice Age offer a great nature excursion.
Fine beaches and clear water of Päijänne are ideal for swimming and sun bathing. Lunch
and coffee will be served onboard. Transfers included.

Finnish folk music will welcome you to our country restaurant. The host will tell you about the local history: “10 000 years in ten minutes”, while taken the welcome drink at the terrace. Inside the over one meter thick granite walls of the restaurant we will offer you traditional local buffet dinner introduced by the host. Available also beer from our own micro brewery. Our musicians will circle around the tables fulfilling the music wishes of the guests. After the meal folk dance show by Hollola group Hannat & Heikit will take place. After the show the dancers will invite the guests to dance with them. Transfers included.

A Dinner with the Beatles
The Wellbeing Garden will be a meeting point for all master athletes and local people in the heart of the city. Enjoy an evening in a nostalgic atmosphere created by the Beatles Story Band in a cosy garden tent, and enjoy a delicious Finnish menu. Come to enjoy the fascinating Beatles Show and taste the best of summer season’s delicacies as pike, home smokes salmon, Finnish traditional breads, wild mushrooms, berry dessert…The Wellbeing Garden is open daily from 10 am.

Guided Tour in the Wood Atchitecture Park
Lahti Passanger Harbour is a heaven on Earth for lovers of wood architecture. Our guided tour takes you on a guided tour to Sibelius Hall, a masterpiece of modern wood architecture. In the surroundings of Sibelius Hall and the harbour there is developing an international Wood Architecture Park. The newest piece of the park, Piano Pavilion, was opened in 2008. Piano Pavilion is a culture cafe located right on the shore of Lake Vesijärvi providing with a great lake view and ideal facilities for smaller banquets. Start at the Sibelius Hall on the passenger harbour.

sic & Dead Food FestivalNight full of entertainment at Cronin’s Irish-Finnish Guesthouse! The festival starts at

6 p.m.; Delicious Roast Pig will be served in the garden together with a sumptuous dinner
buffet. While enjoying the dinner the bands will play Irish music acoustically. Later on the party will continue indoors with live music & dance shows till about 1 a.m. This is a
small and intimate festival (maximum of 100 people), but guaranteed great fun! Cronin’s
idyllic guesthouse is located in the picturesque town Heinola, only 20 minutes from
