Camping

The official camping site of World Masters Athletics Championships is Camping Messilä which is located 7 km from the Sports Center of Lahti. Camping Messilä is a high-standard camping area with modern facilities, situated on the lake shore. Camping area is located in the Messilä Holiday Center and the area offers versatile services such as restaurants, saunas, outdoor and entertainment activities, barbeque places and grocery shop for guests. There are also beautiful sandy beaches and guest harbour at the Camping Messilä available.

Caravan bookings should be made until Feb 28, 2009 with accommodation reservation form (pdf). Places will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Please make your reservation in time! Prices are valid for min 4 nights stay and per caravan incl. electricity.

Private Accommodation

Lahti Travel Ltd. will offer also private accommodation in the Lahti Region within walking distance from the main sports venues. Most of the apartments are suitable for 2-6 persons and can be rent for minimum 7 nights. Linen is included in the price.
